Rolltop Records announces the release of "Ka Hula O Na Niu" a
new CD of Classic Hawaiian Songs & Island Instrumentals.

A variety of artists contributed tracks to this release including,
Herb Pililaau - Frank Leong - Tropical Green - Na Mele O Pu'u Wai - Tim Coffman - Sarah Maisel and Marchand Melcher. Each of the musicians bring a fresh vibe to classic Hawaiian songs like Hanalei Moon, Waikiki, Kauai Beauty, Aloha I A O Waianae, Pauoa Liko Ka Lehua and Aloha Oe`.

Tim Coffman contributes a feisty arrangement of the perennial Hawaiian favorite Island Style and shares vocal credits with Herb Pililaau. Marchand Melcher sings the song Kalua in a contemporary mood with all of the ambience and beauty of a Hawaiian sunset.

Two island instrumentals; Ka Hula O Na Niu and Big Island Rodeo are also included. Both songs where nominated by the JPF International Music Awards for the 2009 song of the year (Hawaiian Music Category).

Producer Tim Coffman, who is known for his love of the Hawaiian steel guitar, has featured it prominently on Ka Hula O Na Niu. Performances of these Hawaiian classics not only honor the past but also invite a new generation to enjoy their beauty and influence. Aloha!

Local Songwriter Releases Charger Songs

With the 50-year celebration of the SanDiego Chargers in full swing and the team entering the playoffs with freshmomentum, songwriter/music producer Tim Coffman has teamed up with RolltopMusic to release“Charger Town”, a catchy little song that celebrates Chargerfans and San Diego Chargers fever.

“Charger Town is all about Chargerfever”says Tim.“This has been such a magical season for Charger fans that wewanted to try and get that excitement and fun on a music track”.Tim invited fellow band mates andsingers to the studio and recorded a completely new track of“Charger Town”.All of the musicians contributed their own personal“Charger fever”to thesong. Charger Town is now available in English and Spanish.
